Gavin is a Brooklyn cartoonist and illustrator. As a BFA graduate of the School of Visual Art’s Cartooning/Illustration program, Gavin has a tight grip on visual composition. Some notable skills of his are:

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

• Clip Studio Paint

• Publishing

• Editing

• Microsoft Word/Excel

He has worked with the independent and ambitious action figure brand, ToyPizza.com, for over 5 years. Committing a heavy involvement with ToyPizza, Gavin has created 4 full length comic books, over 20 comic postcards, and many illustrations that helped to shape the story of the toys. Other duties included package design, advertising and online order fulfillment.

In 2020, Gavin started a publishing brand under the name Chemical Garden Press. Under this title, he organized a comics anthology and oversaw every creative aspect of the project. The book was launched through Kickstarter and was a massive success, gaining 200% funding from dedicated comics enthusiasts.
